Stuarts advises on the acquisition of the Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital

On Wednesday, 16 March 2016, the Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital (“CTMH”) was acquired by CTMH Holding Ltd., being the newly-formed acquisition vehicle through which various international and local investors (including many of the medical professionals involved in CTMH) had invested in order to acquire CTMH.

Stuarts Humphries advised CTMH Holding Ltd. in relation to the equity investments, debt financing and its acquisition of the various entities and a property comprising the entire operation of CTMH.

Associates led the negotiation of the acquisition, equity and financing terms whilst Head of Local Business Buck Grizzel advised on real estate and local legal compliance matters.

Stuarts says “it was a pleasure to work with CTMH Holding Ltd. and its investors on a project that could have such a major impact on the provision of healthcare in the Cayman Islands. We wish them every success in the future and look forward to seeing their plans for growth and the improvement of the patient experience come to fruition.”
