Practice Experience
Buck has over fifteen years specialist experience advising on Cayman Islands Law.
His practice areas include: ordinary, exempted and special economic zone company formation and foreign company registration under the Companies Law, corporate and commercial law advice, matters relating to the Registered Land Law including the sale, purchase, leasing and development of real estate; bank and private party financing particularly in the context of real estate development; Stamp Duty Law and Land Holding Companies Share Transfer Tax Law issues; Trade and Business Licensing Law and Local Companies (Control) Law applications; work permits and work visas, residency, the right to be Caymanian and other Immigration Law applications and appeals; Development and Planning Law matters; Labour Law, National Pensions Law and Health Insurance Law requirements, Workmen’s Compensation Law matters, and Wills and Probate applications.
