Special Economic Zone Opens Cayman Maritime Services Park

The Cayman Islands’ Special Economic Zone Cayman Enterprise City (“CEC”), helps certain businesses set up physical operations in the Cayman Islands. The CEC recently partnered with the Cayman Islands Government to open the Cayman Maritime Park, which will attract clusters of maritime businesses.

The types of companies that can establish a presence in the Maritime Services Park include ship brokers, financiers, managers and owners; shipping, freight trading, operations, logistics, crew salaries & benefits processing, demurrage & post deal calculation and bunker brokerage services; manufacturing, repair, consulting and research & development companies operating in the industry.
