Anti-Money Laundering Reporting Officers

Pursuant to the Anti-Money Laundering Regulations (2018 Revision) of the Cayman Islands (the “Regulations”), the deadline for the appointment and, in certain instances, notification of Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officers, Money Laundering Reporting Officers and Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officers (collectively, the "AML Officers") by existing registered funds, unregistered funds, investment managers and other entities which conduct ‘relevant financial business’ passed on 31 December 2018.

Accordingly, all such entities should now have appointed such AML Officers and have the necessary policies and procedures in place.

If you would like our assistance in ensuring that your fund, investment manager or other entity is compliant with the Regulations, please do contact. We are offering a fixed-fee service to our clients for the drafting of an AML & Compliance Manual for their use and reference.
