Stuarts Walker Hersant Humphries contributed to the Cayman Islands chapters of the Getting The Deal Through Private Equity 2017 guide.

Chris Humphries, Simon Yard and James Smith provided an overview of private equity transactions and fund formations in the Cayman Islands. They went into detail about; the types of private equity fund formation and transaction vehicles commonly used, the duties of operators of funds, applicable legal and regulatory considerations, taxation issues and governmental requirements, typical structures for debt and equity financing, shareholder rights and protections and industry updates on private equity fund formations and transactions in the Cayman Islands.
