Kate joined Stuarts as Head of Group Compliance in April of 2008.
Kate has held senior positions in the Corporate Administration and Compliance Departments of several leading financial service providers in the Cayman Islands over a number of years.
Kate's responsibilities include monitoring adherence to the Group's compliance policies and procedures with particular regard to compliance with the rules and regulations of the local regulatory agencies applicable to the various lines of business, and providing guidance and advice to senior management on matters relating to compliance and corporate governance.
Kate is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and a Fellow of the International Compliance Association. She is a past Chairman of the Cayman Islands branch of the ICSA and was instrumental in establishing the ISCA Certificate and Diploma in Offshore Financial Services programmes in the Cayman Islands.
