Chris specializes in commercial litigation, corporate and funds related insolvency, intellectual property and asset recovery.
Chris is an Associate in the Stuarts Litigation Team and specialises across a broad range of litigation including all areas of commercial litigation, corporate and funds related insolvency, intellectual property and asset recovery. Chris has represented various multi-national corporate bodies, government bodies and high net worth individuals.
Chris joined Stuarts in 2010. His experience includes his practise at the Bar of England & Wales as well as before the Supreme Court of Jamaica with the firm of Gordon McGrath. In both jurisdictions Chris has appeared at all levels of tribunals including the Courts of Appeal of both England and Jamaica as well as appearing before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, Cayman’s highest appellate court.
A graduate of the University of Liverpool in 2006 with a First Class Bachelor of Law (Hons) Degree, Chris went onto achieve an Outstanding in the Bar Vocational Course at Inns of Court School of Law for which he was awarded a prize by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.
Chris was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2007 (currently non-practising) and has been a member of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple since 2005. He was admitted to the Jamaican Bar in 2009. Chris was admitted as an attorney-at-law in the Cayman Islands in 2011.
