Aaron advises on all aspects of the establishment of investment funds and on matters arising from inception to winding-up; his practice covers advising on fund structures and the use of exempted companies, partnerships and unit trusts, advising on the regulatory framework governing funds in the Cayman Islands and advising on matters related to the restructuring of funds. Aaron’s practice also includes advising on a range of corporate transactions for public and private company clients.
Aaron joined the firm as an Associate in 2011 having previously worked for four years in the Corporate Finance department of Hammonds LLP (now Squire Sanders Dempsey) in London. During his time in London, Aaron gained broad experience in various types of corporate transactions, such as: public company takeovers, private acquisitions and disposals, fund raisings and corporate restructurings. He regularly advised on transactions with a cross-border dimension, working with clients in Europe, Asia and North America.
Aaron graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2003 with a First Class Honours degree in law (LLB). He was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2007 and was admitted as an attorney-at-law in the Cayman Islands in 2011.
