William S. Walker OBE
Founder and of Counsel

Mr. Walker is the founder of Stuarts. He attended Trinity Hall Cambridge University where he obtained an M.A. with Honours in 1948 and he obtained a diploma from the International Management Institute (now the International Institute for Management Development) in Lausanne, Switzerland in 1953. He was admitted as a barrister at law in England and Wales in 1950 and as an attorney at law in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands in 1963.
Mr. Walker is the founder of W.S. Walker & Company (now Walkers) and has been involved in the offshore industry in the Cayman Islands since its inception. He was appointed as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 1978.

Mr. Walker is past President of the Cayman Islands Law Society, the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce and the Cayman Islands branch of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners. He is a member of the International Bar Association, the International Tax Planning Association and International Associate member of the American Bar Association.
Mr. Walker has authored many articles on the Cayman Islands and on its banking, corporate and trust structures.
