Mark joined Stuarts Walker Hersant in February 2007 from Bird & Bird, a full service international law firm in London, where he specialised in mainstream corporate and corporate finance work.

Mark advises on a wide spectrum of corporate and commercial related matters for private and listed clients, including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, corporate finance, commercial agreements, securitizations and listings on the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange.

Mark is also a member of the specialist funds team and advises on the registration of mutual funds and all aspects of fund regulation in the Cayman Islands.

Before coming to the Cayman Islands, Mark was a senior associate solicitor at Bird & Bird in London between 2002 and January 2007 and an assistant solicitor at Cameron McKenna, in London, from 2000 to 2002. Mark’s legal career has also seen him work in Sydney and Northern Ireland where he trained at leading firm, Carson & McDowell.

Mark graduated from Trinity College, Dublin in 1995 where he obtained an LL.B (Hons.). Mark has been a member of the Law Society of England and Wales since 2000 and is also admitted in New York (1997), Northern Ireland (1998) and the Cayman Islands (2007).
