David holds a BA in Political Science from Dalhousie University, Halifax Nova Scotia Canada, an MSc. from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland and an LL.B. Hons. from Liverpool University, Liverpool England. He was admitted to practice as an attorney at law in the Cayman Islands in February 1997.

David practiced as an attorney in the Cayman Islands with Walkers until August 1999 when he joined Caledonian Bank & Trust Limited as a

director and in-house counsel. David is a director of Stuarts where his practice areas included mutual funds and structured finance. David is experienced with a wide range of structured products and funds and he brings a unique perspective having worked both for the administrator and the manager.
