March 2011 - Cayman Wildlife Connection

18th March, 2011

Cayman Wildlife Connection is a non-profit group working together with the National Trust for the Cayman Islands and Cayman Wildlife Rescue to preserve the wildlife of the Cayman Islands for future generations. Their aim is to encourage the conservation of the Cayman Islands unique flora & fauna by promoting an understanding of the connections between plants and animals. They endeavor to liaise with existing organizations to highlight native flora and fauna as a part of the Cayman Islands' national identity and endorse the concept that it is economically feasible to retain original vegetation during development as well as to foster the awareness that native vegetation is vital to the survival of native butterflies, birds and other wild animals.
