The Mutual Funds (Amendment) Bill, 2011 (the “Bill”) has been passed by the Cayman Islands government and is expected to come into force before the end of 2011. The Bill requires the registration with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (the “Authority”) of certain Cayman Islands master funds. Please find the Guidance Note attached.
